New Board Highlight!!
Hello to our UIUC students!
We are very excited to announce our board members for 2025! Our EIA chapter board @ UIUC has two categories, the internal and external team.
The external board is led by our External Vice President Brian Huang and we organize all events related to sponsorship, grants, and any networking events hosted by our chapter. We also facilitate any communication between companies and our university, ensuring that all interactions go smoothly.
We have two positions within the external board: industry chair and public relations chair. Our industry chairs, Maximus Lau, Cooper Witek, and Joshua Evans, overlook all activities related to our sponsors, including maintaining contact and collaborating with said sponsors to host networking events. Our public relations chairs, Chance Fowler, Nanoko Seki, and Yoona Kang, manage all activities related to our alumni network and are responsible for keeping our LinkedIn and website up to date, as well as creating the alumni newsletter to ensure that all stakeholders are informed about recent activities. All our external board members gain valuable professional networking and business communications skills through our chapter.
The Internal Board is led by Vice President Uxmar Tapia, who leads four chairs: fundraising, marketing, social media, and outreach chair. Each chair plays an important role in managing the club's internal affairs related to fundraising events, social events, and media presence. The fundraising chair, Flor Jimenez, organizes fundraiser events to fulfill funding requirements for the EIA Bridge Program UIUC. The marketing chair, Ishika Rana, oversees the marketing and promotional strategy of our organization to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth. The social media chair, Angel Rodriguez, oversees the strategic direction and management of all media-related activities, ensuring that our chapter has an active social media presence. The outreach chair, Isaac Sanchez, is responsible for scheduling and planning events with local schools and other non-profit organizations outside the UIUC campus. Through the efforts of these members on the Internal Board, they ensure the smooth execution of internal operations, foster a strong sense of community within the organization, and effectively support the EIA Bridge Program's mission.
Our board members are so excited to work with each other to make this year memorable for both EIA and our sponsors!
